A Perfect Ending Film Review

one lonely rainy night, okay that's a bit exaggerated, it wasn't actually raining, but it was indeed lonely. I happen to be going through Netflix and I saw a film Directed by Nicole Conn, titled A Perfect Ending Starring Barbara Niven and Jessica Clark. I was familiar with Barbara because I was definitely a lifetime groupie back in my middle school days, so I decided to give it a little looky look. Now at first I didn't understand what was going on because, first off it was about four a.m. and second because well no second, it was just really late, but soon I really got into the film and perked up and stated paying attention. The films revolves around Rebecca(Barbara Niven's character) a wealthy middle aged white woman who has a husband who doesn't pay much attention to her. She really just goes through life day by day with no real purpose. Most of her time is spent caring for her three children and husband,  leaving no time to take care of herself. Soon friends set up her with a high end call Girl named Paris (Clark's character) whom she is naturally reluctant to meet with initially, but later gives in and begins exploring a world of passion and lust. The pair of them develop a type of relationship that becomes healing to one another. Sort of like finding that person who becomes a mirror image of yourself, showing you that your imperfections are your best quality. Someone who forces you to embrace everything negative thing you have felt about yourself. Forcing you to have self-love. I can't say to much more without giving the film away, but I will say that watching this film opened my eyes so much. I was once considered a prude or I would say ignorant to other lifestyles because of pure lack of knowledge. After viewing this film it gave me a half mind for a moment to find a nice gal to explore life with. Although I am no quite going for that team, I am much more open minded and curious about other ways of being than my own and that is exactly what I hope to gain when watching a film. I hope to come out thinking and hungry for knowledge. Thank you Nicole, Barbara, Jessica and the rest of the cast for educating me and giving insight on a world bigger than me that continues to evolve each and every day.
