Say No to Bullying!

Hey guys! Have you heard about the new movie Bully? Well if you haven't, let me tell you a bit about it!

Bully follows five kids and families over the course of a school year. Stories include two families who have lost children to suicide and a mother awaiting the fate of her 14-year-old daughter who has been incarcerated after bringing a gun on her school bus. With an intimate glimpse into homes, classrooms, cafeterias and principals’ offices, the film offers insight into the often cruel world of the lives of bullied children.

As teachers, administrators, kids and parents struggle to find answers; Bully examines the dire consequences of bullying through the testimony of strong and courageous youth. Through the power of their stories, the film aims to be a catalyst for change in the way we deal with bullying as parents, teachers, children and society as a whole.

Bullying is such a serious matter!  I myself was bullied in the 5th grade! Five girls beat me up in the bathroom for having long hair and telling me I thought I was to pretty! I have been called ugly and gappy and made fun of for having a Gap in my teeth. When you experience that kind of abuse rather it be physical or verbal, it really affects you!  Hurting someone else is NEVER okay! I am thrilled that The Weinstein Company is showing the world the harsh reality of what happens in the cruel world of bulling! It is up to us to stand up and make it stop! We are tomorrow's future! If you see it happening, do something about it! By standers who watch and do nothing are just as guilty as the bully!

I really push you to go see this movie! Parents as well! Educate yourselves! Find out ways that you can make a difference in the cause?

Have you ever been bullied? I want to hear your stories! Share with me!
